  • Another undersized Celtic...
Now it would make sense to sign a guy like Shaq or Kwame Brown--J O'neal can't play 48 minutes...We need one more big? More so than a cheap wing?

I think signing Jermaine ends the shaq stuff(thank god if you ask me). Shaq is gonna have zero interest in going somewhere where he could end up being the THIRD string center once Perk gets back. No Shaq in Boston. Can't happen now.

The ultimate sell out move for Shaq would be to go back to L.A. I think Shaq goes with the superteam if it happens.

The only chance we have now is if a big man comes here for the vet min like the Theo Ratlif types.   I wouldn't mind if Kwame Brown accepted the vet min and came here.   The only other way is through a trade with Sheed's contract to try and trade for another big.

It's possible.

If LeBron leaves Cleveland, and the Cavs decide they need to blow it up and start over, they might look to sign and trade Shaq and another contract (Anthony Parker? Jamario Moon?) for the payroll relief that Sheed's contract could provide.
