I've watched every Celtic summer league game and my impressions are a lot like everyone's regarding Harangody...the kid can ball. He's very heady, always around the ball when it's coming off the board, very good (better than expected) shooter. He doesn't take bad shots. Just a smart, smart good basketball skills. Ainge does it again! Believe it or not I am starting to warm up to Erden. He has looked a lot better the past two games. Today's game he was way more active than usual, even putting it on the floor and taking it to the hole showing a little face up movement and going after the ball on the boards. Once Cliff starts to work with him I think he will be a very servicable big off the pine. One other small thing I noticed about him is that he sets solid picks. I don't know about the rest of you but Perk gets under my skin where every game he has at least two moving pick calls. Lafayette will also be a very serviceable backup...on some team. While I would love to groom him, I don' think we're gonna have the room. There's a few other shooters....Carroll, Janning and Thompson. None will make the squad. The big foreigners are bangers...tough, really nothing more. Both are nasty which goes against the soft foreign player label. Gaffney has been too up and down, mostly down.

They are 1-3 but they are playing very good fundamental basketball. They have put on a very good display. Tough 1 point loss today to Indiana after being up big..(ugh, the memories of this past season).
