Duncan.

Shaq isn't loyal enough to choose. Duncan can get along with everyone and do his job without becoming a spectacle. Orlando tried to center their team around Shaq. San Antonio did it around Duncan. Which got better results?

LA got Shaq in his prime and had a great run, so it is a close argument. But with Duncan, you can win and also be financially responsible.
