Sheed and Perk for Okafor.

Why for N.O.- They shed salary. It's a fire sale in The Big Easy.

Why for Boston- with Perk out and Sheed retring, we add an athletic center that can block shots and has better sklls offensively than Perk.

Even though Okafor has a longer contract, we have to re-up Perk or let him walk. I like Okafor much better for the Rondo era than Perk, who has numerous injuries and will now be slower with a rebuilt knee.

With the upcoming CBA, I doubt ownership would want to take on that contract. Plus, with the Hornet's draft day deal are they really looking to dump any further? Peja will be off the books this time next year and that will really open things up for them.
