In the end there was no payoff for me. I got to spend a little time with my daughters which softened the blow. But it completely sucks to see the Q daddy hanging his head.....

I shot all my ammunition but by the 4th qtr my cannon had no more balls to shoot. There really is no consolation to losing to the Lakers - none whatsoever.

My daughter continues to go have a good time with her young adult friends but in the end I sit here and type out my post mortem report of failed expectations.

I would like to thank all the Celtics friends made over the years - whether I met them in a Sports Bar or at my stint at Fenway Park last September 30. I think that the tradition of rooting for the Celtics is the greatest thing in my life.

Tonight seemed like a career ender for me...... Celtics getting a 2nd half lead and then the shots stopped falling and the energy went away. To me the refereeing was a complete crock of you know what but that was not did in the Celtics. Attrition, injuries, old age and bad breaks did them in.

The only path was to the title was to sweep out Orlando in four and beat the Lakers Four to One. Games 5 and 6 were against Orlando were extremely damaging to our health. Game 6 against the Lakers we lost Perkins and essentially we could not match up their length or strength and when the shots stopped falling, our chances were ruined.

In the end the Celtics earned a B+ for their overall performance this year.

The NBA has a lot of work to do in cleaning up the way the games are officiated. It was quite interesting to here the Blazers fans tell Joey Crawford horror stories though. I'd have to say the crowd was 75% Celtics but I was not really paying that much attention.

I am losing my touch as far as the Lucky Charms go but that is OK. I gave it a whirl. Please do not Tommy Point me I deserve a big fat Zero.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

Your complains about the refs will always fall upon deaf ears.

I preface this that I ref college intramurals on a regional level.

As a ref, there is every excuse in the book to excuse your calls.

1.  I believed those to be the right calls
2.  If I called everything, the game would take forever
3.  Foul differential was close, why complain?

No way to prove refs rigging or making differences in series', unless refs come out and say so, which they never would, unless Stern released them, which is probably why he doesn't release any of them.
