After beating Miami, Cleveland and Orlando, our season is now down to one game. Remember all the times we've had our backs against the wall? Remember how everyone said that we were too old? Now is the time to prove all the haters and doubters wrong. I don't care if we're playing at the Staples Center, we can do this. We will do this. I simply refuse to believe anything else, even after tonight's game. I hope you're with me.

We will rain on your Laker parade, David Stern.

Well, the refs will be decent in Game 7 probably.  The league got its way - there's a Game 7 in LA.

The Celtics got what they needed tonight - a dose of humility.  A chip on their shoulders.  An invitation to fight back.

As long as the Celtics play team basketball and don't try to do too much from the very start like they did tonight, I expect Game 7 to be very competitive.

As much as I hate to say it, this thing was probably fated to go 7 games anyhow.

Thursday night will be stomach-churning and nerve-wracking but game 7s always are.

  • GOT IT!!!
It's all about defense at this point. C's offense cannot be trusted so the defense has to be there to even have a chance.

I honestly don't know what to expect. This series is just too close to call. Both teams will play balls to the wall.

Without Perk it will make things tougher for the C's. I hope he can go.

I agree.

Whats done is done. Game 6 has nothing to do with game 7. As game 5 had nothing to do with game 6.

We've been blown out and come back strong in this very playoffs.

Now we look forward, no more looking back. On to game 7 and #18.

I'll be nervous till that whistle blows and the ball is jumped. Then I'll just be screaming for this team, our team, to win.

God bless this team.  I've said it before and I'll say it again, the Celtics are my team no matter what happens.  I KNOW 120% they'll give us all they've got in game 7.

Fight hard fellas, don't give these goons anything until the final whistle..

Stern? Huh? We got thoroughly outplayed from the start and you are mentioning Stern as if he wants the Lakers?

 ???

I guess that's one way of dealing with disappointment...

Thursday is a new day. We had no sense of urgency tonight but no way we do that again. I hate to wait 2 more days for the next game but I'm optimistic it'll be worth the wait.

I get another opportunity to destroy my aerospace career just like 1984.

p--- on the Lakers.
p--- on Kobe.
p--- on Gasol.
p--- on Artest.
p--- on Phil Jackson.

Once I am done venting it is onto the Final Solution.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

I honestly wouldn't be all that worried by tonight's game if it weren't for Perk getting injured.

The Celtics have shown us they can bounce back, but they haven't shown us they can play really good basketball when their starting lineup is broken up.

Stern once said that in a perfect world, the NBA Finals would be played between the Lakers and the Lakers.

Nowhere in here did I say this had anything to do with the refs or anything else other than the Lakers outplaying us. I just think that Stern would love LA to win it all, thus reenforcing Kobe as a difference maker, as opposed to our team ball.
