Congrats on a good hard fought game.  BBD was the game changer tonight-- the Lakers had no response to his play.  The Celtics basically wanted the game more and out-hustled and out-played the Lakers, who came out flat and stayed that way.  The complete lack of interest was disappointing and astounding.

Clearly, the Celtics bench outclassed the Lakers bench, and even the Lakers starters.

Hopefully the Lakers come out with more energy in the next game and and at least be competitive at the end.

Classy thread.  I know that for me, the last thing I want to do after a tough loss is to discuss the game with opposing fans.

I'd like to echo this sentiment. Gutty 4th quarter performance from the C's, despite a pair of perplexing meltdowns from Sheed and Nate. As the OP said, the difference in intensity between the two teams, especially down the stretch, was tangible. As a Laker fan, I am FURIOUS, FURIOUS, FURIOUS with Lamar Odom. People magazine just reported that he's carrying Glenn Davis' child. Just a total lack of intensity from him for all but one half of this series.

This is a perfect example of what makes this matchup so great. Cleveland, Orlando, Phoenix, Denver, Atlanta...all of those other teams will give it to you. The Lakers or Celtics? You're gonna have to effing take it from them. The Lakers didn't do that, and now the series is tied.

The Bynum situation is huge. If he can give us decent minutes, I still feel confident about the series. If he can't, that could swing things in Boston's favor. I'm REALLY happy there are two days off before Game 5.

Looked to me like Kobe was the only one with the glare in his eye. He realizes you can basically end the series early on in game 4 or so, but his teammates don't seem to play with the same sense of urgency. He terrifies me.

The fact that we survived a game where Kobe couldn't miss for a long period from deep makes me feel good going forward. The fact that Bynum is hurting makes me very confident.

BBD's emotions can hurt him, but when properly applied they make him a difference maker with his skill set.

Thanks, Laker Fans....

And as I'm sure you know:

Kobe Bryant is a Dangerous Man. Like jdpapa said. I'm thankful that TA could slow him down - a little.

I'm Glad that Pierce played well - especially after sitting out quite a while.

Cheers guys -- I know how bad you want this for the Lakers and how hard it is to watch a tight fourth quarter slip away.  Trust me, we are still on pins and needles -- the pretenders are gone and the championshp is ON!

I go back and forth about who is the better team. I just figured, whoever wins it is the best. The teams are just so close. It's the composure that sets them apart but now if Bynum's injury is a lot worse then that obviously helps us A LOT.
I still fear Kobe like no other player if it's a possession or two and the game is winding down. But I tell ya if the game is gettin on and the c's get up by 8 or so the Lakers become predictable. Sure Kobe may hit those ridiculous shots while abandoning team play. I don't think anyone in history(even mj) hit as many crazy ones. He's a freak. But I'll take that. I'd rather have him taking selfish shots instead of ball movement. I'll take a Kobe triple pumpfake, nearly falling over fadeaway than an open look from derek fischer.

People magazine just reported that he's carrying Glenn Davis' child.

Hey man, Dancing Bear's got class, he'd never go out with Lamara, even if Lamara was the last woman on Earth  ;)

On a more serious note, you guys have got class as well. I hate your team but I love having you people bring that other side of the story to us. Keep it up.

For this alone I give you a TP.

Looks like BBD likes games 4.
After this game I want a list of people that didn't want Danny to sign Baby or they wanted to trade him away. I loved that guy from the day we got him.
