Jesus Shuttles...I mean Ray Allen was ON tonight, obviously goes without saying. Coming into this series we all knew Rondo would have to come close to dominating. We also knew Ray Ray was going to have to take advantage of the matchup against Fisher. I really think he would've gotten hot in game 1 too, he had a couple quick baskets before getting into foul trouble. Anyway, the response in game 2 was nothing short of legendary. I'm all about winning, and about each player playing within his own game and within his team's game plan for the betterment of the team. But sometimes there are individual performances that transcend everything. Ray had one of those performances today. It was really fun to watch. D*mn he got game!

Wholeheartedly agree. And the thing I love most about Ray, is how he moves off the ball ... he wouldn't get nearly as many looks if he weren't so active running around picks. He works his butt off to get those open looks, and he rewards himself for it ... it's a joy to behold!

Fun fact, I've never seen that movie.

The real Ray Allen is probably better, though.

You should, it's a good one.  ;)

An outstanding performance from an outstanding shooter.  And a TP for the OP.  :D

It really is amazing. I am not sure people know how tough it is to catch and shoot period. But to do it after running around for an entire possession is unreal.

In another thread, a poster linked you tube videos of Ray in his Seattle days and it seems that Ray dominated the ball more and shot off the dribble. It seems he changed his game quite a bit to fit into Doc's offense. He is so much more dangerous this way and all the movement and misdirection creates great spacing and plenty of great opportunities for others within the offense.

This very well might be true, remember when he first came to town and was "struggling" a bit, and Doc kept saying how we had to find ways to work him into the offense more?

Really good movie...unfortunately, I watched this movie in a hotel room in Vegas (with a ZILLION commercials) about a month before we traded for Ray---one of these days, I'll buy the dvd and watch it on my 60" plasma.

I’m gonna watch this now. My copy has been on my desk since the trade in ’07 LOL.

Another interesting factoid for anyone that hasn’t seen it, Boston fan favorite Walter McCarty    plays Ray’s high school teammate in the film.
