You may think I'm overhyping his play but seriously, this play was awesome for us but absolutely AWFUl for the Lakers. I mean, did he get paid by the Celtics to do THAT?

It has to be the worst offensive possession ever in Finals history, right? But keep it RonRon, we love ya! :D

If you get a chance to check out the press conference a female reporter asked PJ about his possession and even PJ didn't make any excuses for it.

Pretty funny exchange in fact.

I just watched that video 4 times and couldn't stop laughing.  The Benny Hill music was a great touch.  Everything about that play has got to irk Lakers fans.

Paul should be doing whatever he can to encourage Artest to take the ball off the dribble and shoot the jumper.

Artest is a great weapon for the Celtics.

Nice clip, TP.  I was laughing at that possession live - you could tell Ron was out of control and looking to chuck something up.  He played really poorly on offense last night.

The funniest part of that video is imagining what Kobe is saying in his head by looking at his reactions. Hilarious.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
I was watching this with a friend at work and we were cheering Ron on this entire play, lol. We both knew where this play was headed and were just hoping Artest didn't second guess himself and decide to pass. Too bad Kobe almost completely negated the play with a 3.

Where Amazing Happens.

Reminded me so much of The Zach Randolph Possession.

Seriously, what's the worse play?  I gotta say Ron-Ron's. just because of the context.  I mean, what the hell was Ronnie thinking?

Found this hilarious tidbit in ESPN coverage of the game this morning:
Quote
Here, instead, is how Artest explained those 13 seconds of futility:

What were you doing on that play?

"I don't know," Artest said.

Was that a smart play?

"I don't know. That depends, it felt good though."

Were you just looking for someone to pass to on that play? Was no one popping open?

"Um, I'm not sure. Yeah, I'm not sure."

Did it feel like you were dribbling around forever?

"I'm not sure. When you're in the game you don't really know how many seconds, you just play."

Phil Jackson said that you might've been trying to redeem yourself?

"Hmm, Phil just thinks ... I guess he's assuming."
"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."

Artest is lucky that he is a basketball player. I can't imagine him having a 'normal' job.

Thanks for the postgame comments kozlodoev, awesome comments by Ron, he sounds like he didn't know what he was doing either. "It felt good, though", seriously?! :o ;D
