you don't have to like the Lakers, since they're not really all that likable, in fact not likeable at all, especially compared to the 80's Lakers.
But I would find it refreshing if Celtics nation did at least respect them as a team, a very good team. Of course many of us already do. But the trash talking on the blog has gone overboard imo and taken some of the sweetness out of being in the finals.....
We are in the finals. Let's stop scouring the media for quotes that motivate Celtic players. Let's leave that to the mainstream media, the coaches, etc....Enough! We're at the saturation point and now it's time to shut up and win! Let the Lakers be the Lakers and let the Celtics be the Celtics. We either have what it takes or we don't. Stop the trash talk! Let's just enjoy the competition.....

And now the music part. We all know the Lakers are over there in Laker land reading all kinds of special books lent to them by their coach....books to relax, books to think better, etc....We scoff (light scoff) at them and their book filled-locker room...What if the Celtics were known as a music listening team via Doc? We already know many players are into music and mega headphone sets. And each player listens to his own thing to focus, motivate, etc...But what if they decided during the finals to all listen to the same thing? Here's where you come in. Pretend you are Doc and you have the power to make the Celtics all listen and get to know the same album over the course of the finals (we know in reality this is nearly impossible...people never agree on what to listen to..)
But let's say you have the ability to make it happen. Which album would you choose to have the team listen to in order to help them beat the Lakers. Something aggressive? Something relaxing? Something where people get blown away by bullets to the head? Mozart for Mother's to be? What? Please choose 1 album, and you are also allowed one second choice album. Provide a brief reason if you desire.
#1 "Kind of Blue"....Miles Davis ........seven musicians perfectly in tune with each other....soloing here and there but dedicated to the group......a relaxing but urgent album......sublime ensemble play.
Runner up: Louis Armstrong Greatest Hits..........soulful and happy. Celtics play good happy.
