Weve been playing really sloppy dumb basketball. I mean I dont have video on hand but just starting the game and into it, we made terrible passes. Simply giving the ball away. Sloppy home run passes. Failed alley oops I think we tried 2 times in a row.

Its easy to complain about officiating especially this game rightfully so but we been awful. We arent playing with the effort needed our guys look comfortable while theyre out there fighting for their life series. Its showing and they need to change it fast because times running out.

The Celtics need to being their A game on Friday, and play as a team again.

And the Boston crowd can absolutely have an effect on this Orlando team. Get up early and the Magic will fold (barring any crooked officating :-) ).

The Celtics need to bring their A game, and so does the crowd. I believe both will happen and we will get this done.

Just learned Perkins will play tomorrow so that is goodness.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

Magic are beating Celtics in their own game, Transition buckets. On one end, C's are taking low percentage shots & are late getting back on D on the other end. Rondo needs to work extra hard to get the big3 & himself quality looks. Whether it comes in the first pass or the 5th pas, Quality shots matters against the Magic.

If they come out with energy in the firt 5-10 minutes of the game, crowd will carry them rest of the way. Need a good start in Game6

Celtics need to play better.

They need to chase guys off the three.

They need Perk in there to defend Howard.

They need a PF to defend Lewis (instead of being forced to go with Pierce)

They need better rotation on the double pick and roll.  Rondo is not going to get through both picks fast enough.  There needs to be some one to slow penetration and someone with a body on Howard if he rolls.

The fact of the matter is that none of the Orlando players (including Howard) are good enough to win a game if you play tough defense.  Too often, Rondo has been roaming, letting Nelson get free.  If Rondo stays on him like a blanket, he becomes a liability, as he's really a p----poor playmaker who often can't find the open man.

I don't quite understand why we EVER bother to trap or double anyone on the Magic.  Howard posting up isn't going to win any games.  Howard getting wide open alley oops when we double some inferior player is going to, just as passing to open shooters is.
