Celtics 22 non-shooting fouls, 8 in the first quarter

Every foul called in the first quarter on the Celtics was non-shooting -- all 8 of them. For the game, 22 non-shooting fouls on the Celtics and 14 on Orlando. KG has to sit early in the first quarter after 2 off-the-ball fouls. Rondo's first two fouls, both non-shooting fouls. Of course, there were 3 hack-a-Howard fouls in the fourth quarter, but the 8 non-shooting fouls in the first quarter set the tone for the game and the Celts knew they were in trouble.

So right on! Non shooting fouls all over the place. It was unbelievable and I couldn't take it all in till the game was over. I just sat there astounded and depressed for what clearly had been a farce. And seeing BBD hurt like that was agonizing, especially when no foul was called on Howard.
Tomorrow's game better be real basketball and real officiating. We need to get our whole team away from that nasty DH before they all end up permanently disabled, which it seems the refs are allowing.
