Too bad he's more articulate than any pundit/commentator/talking head.

I actually love SVG.  Every coach should look like Ron Jeremy.

I like SVG.  He's loud and obnoxious but he's clearly a very good coach.  He's the leader of that team (Howard isn't mature enough to lead yet).

The Magic are so good because their game plan is so effective and they are built to execute it nearly flawlessly, and they usually do.  In other words, they're a very disciplined team.  That wouldn't be the case if they didn't have a great coach.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

And unlike some people **cough**Mike Brown**cough ** he can make in game adjustments.

SVG knows BS when he sees it.  Great coach as well.  Doc's the right guy for the C's though.  He's a motivator and they don't really need a x's and o's kind of guy.  Not that he can't do that when it's called upon.

TOGETHER!!!!
Little Fockers 1.5/10
Gulliver's Travels 1/10
Grown Ups -20/10
Tron Legacy 6.5/10

Sometimes he makes some great points, and sometimes he's just a complete whiner. Hopefully we'll see more of the latter during this series, we saw plenty of it last year.

  • Thank you Eddie!
SVG is correct on all counts except when he says Mike Brown is a decent coach.  Too bad his voice on the bench sounds like a three year old in a grown man's body though, otherwise he'd be a great talking head with the voice of reason when he's done coaching.

I like all Van Gundys as coaches.

As commentators, not as much as often.

I think both Van Gundys are a riot, whether as coaches or commentators.  Their house must have been insane, growing up.

I like all Van Gundys as coaches.

So, if Doc ever retired, you would find any Van Gundy to be an acceptable replacement?

I really like what he said and agree with him.  Cool that he recognizes the truth of the matter.
