The defense has a lot to do with Paul not getting in a groove, but the fact is that it's been a long time since Paul has put together a string of dominant games.  We used to count on Paul to have consistently good games, now we hope for a big one here or there.

If you mean him playing defense is effecting his groove, then I agree right off the back. He's older, and all that chasing LeBron and defending the train is draining Pierce alot faster. The good point though is that it looks as if the team's lack of effort in putting together a 60 win season has lead them into having more gas in the tank for solid team effort.

Either way, it's still Rondo finally leading this team, and allowing the aged Big 3 to find their spots and work their magic. Let Rondo have a bad game, and we will lose.
