Its a generational thing man.... for my generation the Lakers have given me no reason to hate them as much as I hate the cavs. What the finals? We killed them...before the finals we were no competition to them during my lifetime. If I came off and said OH I HATE THE LAKERS SO MUCH MORE ..THAT would be the blind hatred we were mentioning earlier. Do I want them to win? No but if I had a gun to my head Lebron winning or the Lakers winning.... I hate to say it but Id rather not see Lebron EVER win.
And your point about him deserving a championship because he is dominant blah blah blah...thats nuts Championship TEAMS are earned by a TEAM. Celtics in 08 were a TEAM, Lakers last year won it as a TEAM the Heat did it, San Antonio ect .ect. its a team performance I dont think a team deserves a championship just because of one player... and if anyone says differently then they dont understand the whole idea of sports in the first place from when we all played as kids....TEAM FIRST
Just because the Cavs run their offense through Lebron does not mean they don't play as team. Lebron scored 40 points on what, 23 shots? That's efficiency. He also had 8 assists. He scores efficiently and sets up his teammates. His teammates have to knock shots down.
Lebron does not trust his teammates and I can't remember ever watching a team where only one player touches the ball in so many possessions each game...Lebron creates rough spots that I will agree he sometime does amazing things to get out of, but that is not impressive to me...
I know this is not going to be a popular statement, but I don't care...
Lebron may be one of the most gifted basketball players ever, but he still doesnt have a great bball IQ...
