Pretty ridiculous, if you ask me. He should've been made an example of due to his position as a role model, his antics after the incident, and the fact that he displayed almost ZERO remorse.

I don't think Gilbert is a bad guy, and I don't think the judge should've thrown the book at him. But honestly, a little jailtime probably would've been good for him. There's not one other player in the NBA that needs to grow up more than Arenas does.
