He should get ALL of scal's minutes....why does doc play this guy instead of sheldon.....quite a mystery...! Doc should make it clear that sheldon and BBD have to battle on the floor for their minutes, then maybe BBD will take getting in shape seriously, because he hasn't yet..! Fat and stupid is no way to go through life..! Leon could dunk on anyone, and he did as he helped us beat the Lakers for our title, Sheldon can dunk as well, BBD can only out dunk those guys in the doughnut shop...! Or maybe with a BBall shaped Mcnugget..!

Yawn
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

two examples of why to ban the "R" word...?

Sheldon needs more minutes. His production would go way up now that he is comfortable.

This tread needs to be locked! Where is the moderator!

If word gets out that Williams can play, how in the world can we resign him for vet min?!?

Young, athletic PF with good fundamentals and work ethics - these guys don't grow on trees. Certainly not for vet minimum.

Dude can play defense and rebound. Celtics brass have every confidence he will fully get all the defensive schemes down. And his 15' jumper can become automatic.

1) Doc needs to continue to bury him until Danny resigns him!
2) Nate will just have to make due with Sheed and BBD "protecting" him on D.

This thread needs to be John Locked!  >:(
Sarcasm aside Shelden Williams is one of the worst offensive big men in the entire league. He also isn't a good defender.

Shelden does one thing, and one thing only well, rebound. That's a very important thing for a big man, but its not enough to succeed in the NBA.

Well, that may be true, but I haven't seen enough of him in game time to decide that for myself, if he was out there enough, and got some real plays in his time, and blew them outright, then i would agree, but to date, he hasn't ever started, never comes in for more than 5 minutes a game, hasn't gotten a post up pass or look unless he gets a rebound and makes it for himself....ever play on a team where no one will pass to you......it changes things and can make you look unproductive, look at all the minutes scal gets, all the passes, he just runs down the floor and parks in the corner...waiting for the ball, heck, even Ray Allen doesn't sit somewhere waiting for the ball, you'd think scal was the best 3 point man in the league the way he looks for the ball to come to HIM...! If sheldon just rebounded and defended well, that would be the extra role that remains to be filled here.....! Why do you hate varajo, because he rebounds all cleve's misses and gives them another whole set....!
