Just trying to keep things orderly here.  Call it my own version of a "Faith-Based Initiative".

Championships aren't won in February against the worst team in the league, so the NJ game doesn't matter...

Afternoon games are just hard...throws off the players' schedule...

No Pierce...

Nate is still getting integrated...

Doc used different rotations/took game lightly.

Trap game...

Saving it/will turn it on in the playoffs.

Feel free to add your own reasons/excuses to explain this quixotic 2010 run for #18.

We've had less than a handful of games with entire rotation available.

Just waiting for Nate to get comfy

Just waiting for Sheed to get comfy

Sheldon will be well rested for the playoffs
Yup

Why the need for excuses?

Sometimes you play like crap and you get your ass handed to you. That's what happened to the Celtics today.

Well  up until today I would have said this team was playing possum in the middle of the road...but today I think an 18 wheeler may have ran over that possum and smushed it to smitherenes

I'll add that we have the pieces to win, but need to reconfigure how they work together as their abilities change: that we need a few tweaks.

BBD's not getting any taller/longer, but is actually a decent post defender.  Perhaps he will learn to play within his limitations.

Sheed is a good positional player, but doesn't have the hops/mobility to run around (not that he ever really did anyway).  He would play better next to a young/mobile player who can compensate (BBD isn't it).

[FWIW, it really does look like Shelden and his longer arms/quicker feet might be a better fit next to Sheed]

Nate needs to learn what everyone can/can't do:  running a play to get Tony Allen an open jumper is not a good idea...
