I think both guys will help the C's with their mishaps. Larry is a ball handler and distributor that can also knock down jump shots far better than Tony Allen. Battie is a workhouse, long defender with a mid range game, that loves to grabb rebounds and block shots, The only problem with these 2 signing is where does that leave, Tony Allen playing the back-up 2 guard, and/or Rasheed and Davis playing back-up Center/Powerforward positions?

Weigh In ???

Pass on both.  Both were mediocre players at their best and they're long past that point.  I don't see either one of these 2 being able to add value over who's already here.

neither does anything for this team, and wyc isn't going to spend an addtional 2-3mil to watch tony and larry lose to the nets.

While I guess I wouldn't find myself all that agitated about signing either guy, at no point have I thought to myself, "You know what? This team is a Larry Hughes and a Tony Battie away from a championship."
