Rondo wasn't good in the 2nd half but he wasn't bad either.  The Cavs devoted their defense to smothering Ray on the perimeter and packing the paint.  Because Daniels offered no threat on the perimeter, our only offensive option was KG and he couldn't really get free.

rondo had 5 points and 3 assists in the second half.  He was tired and terrible.

Rondo is definitely becoming more aggressive with the jumper. He had the horrific plays to end each of the first 2 quarters, and then the airball 3...

but I can live with that. He might as well shoot some 3's during the regular season. Maybe by the playoffs, he will be able to hit them more regularly.

Remember BBD last season? He kept taking the midrange jumper during the regular season and kept missing. By the very end of the season and the playoffs, he could finally hit them. (Though he never takes that shot this season). I can live with Rondo's learning pains for a few more weeks.

Still, he made some poor choices on those plays.

Bottom line, we needed Pierce on Lebron.

I would also suggest that Shaq leaving the game helped their defense.

I don't see how that's terrible.  He fed Baby for two looks that got stuffed, Sheed for a missed 3, TA for a missed layup and a few foul shots.

KG/Sheed/Baby really should take the brunt of this loss.  Sheed and Baby could not finish, rebound or keep track of Hickson.  KG missed a wide-open J and had two big turnovers in the post when the Cavs were making their run.

TA also had a huge boner leaving D West wide open for a 3 that made it 82-78.

Rondo's the last guy to blame for this loss.
