There's nothing on celtics.com and not a peep from Ainge.  Yahoo is reporting that Robinson won't play tonight.

Did someone's capologist screw up?  This does not look like a mere administrative snafu.

Moreover, the only source "confirming" the deal is Alan Hahn.

What did Ainge say on WEEI today, I was listening for a while at work, but then when he didn't come on forever, I gave up.

Is every other deal official yet? They do them by conference call one at a time.

He never came on because he was still waiting his turn to talk to the league officials. Supposedly he'll be on tomorrow.

TP.  Thanks.

Not that concerned though.  This isn't like some miracle trade like Ray for LeBron.  I don't think there's a lot of reason for anyone to lie about this one.

I'm still holding out that a) Walker isn't involved and b) we aren't giving up a pick. Both were reported by RealGM/Hahn.

When the big show ended Danny hadn't even started his call yet, he was still waiting in line.

walker? i am glad he will be traveling away from boston so we wont have to suffer threads about him....although he may be lazeresque ala antoine and gg.

anyway....

robinson is far better than walker or giddens will ever be. walker was expendable as was giddens.

good trade by ainge, even though it is not a blockbuster.

the celtics had 14 players on the team before the trade. and only 13 now.

my question is whether the celtics will be filling those two empty slots on the roster soon. geez, is hudson coming back?
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

My desire to keep Walker is because he is young, athletic, and a cheap contract.

Next season, we have only 7 players on guaranteed contracts. Walker would have helped round out the roster. Shelden Williams could have gone instead to make the numbers work.
