The Small Deal That Can Change the Chemistry

Sorry, I'm terrible with making up trades, but I was just thinking about what Danny said about making a small deal to change the chemistry of the team.  I couldn't think of any small deal that would do that, except for Nate Robinson.  I feel like everyone's talking about Nocioni, Martin and Ellis, but Danny coveted Nate Robinson too and that could be the small deal Danny was talking about.  I don't see how any other small deal could change the chemistry of the team unless it's for the little guy. 

I'm not sure we really need to do something big.  I think we should just get Nate.

Yeah, while I don't think its a given that Robinson would hurt the team chemistry, I have seen little reason to think he would do anything to help it.

It seems to me that if we want to improve the chemistry we should be subtracting an old motorless guy such as Wallace in any deal for youth and energy.  I'd also prefer Augustin over Robinson.

Robinson comes with some baggage - but he is explosive.  The problem is that he replicates Eddie's role.  Where does Eddie go in such a move.  Robinson is a tank for his size, so he can handle postups better than your average 5'10 guy ... but he's still a 5'10 guy.  Robinson is a good thought though.

The chemistry does not bother me - chemistry is a trailer, not a leader.

He's more like 5'5, but yes I agree.  Robinson is a liegit scorer with explosiveness, range, finishing ability and a nice drive and dish game.  He's much more of a sure thing than DJ Augustin.

For us, but why does NY do it?

As much as I hate Nate (and I REALLY hate him, even if it is completely irrational), he is a valuable asset.  They are not going to dump him for simple expiring contracts (which that basically is).  He can put butts in seats for the rest of the season if they just hang on to him, so they are going to want either a future asset (first rounder) or someone to take one of their bad contracts with him.
