"I have no control over trade rumors people. Let's just focus on being positive. I am a Celtic. Green all day."

Per Ray Allen's twitter.

I will hate to see him go. I love Ray the person. Business is business sadly.

I have the same exact thoughts.  Ray is exactly what you want in a teammate, it'll be sad to see him go.

TP for Ray
When I'm in the gym...I like to grunt when  I get my swell on... That way everyone can see how jacked and tan I am.

I also love Ray.  And, if the rumors are false, that is fine with me.  Ray is the backbone of this team...all we need now is a little glucosamine and grey tape.  If Doc can get the effort out of everyone we will be fine.

Ray knows if he is traded he will be bought out, so he can return to the C`s that is why he isn`t worried...

Ray is the ultimate professional.

They should have his picture in dictionaries by the word.

I've got nothing, but respect for him.

And you hope guys like Rajon and BBD can learn from his example.  There comes a time where every pro has to learn that this is a business and Ray is a perfect one to look to as a model.

I love Ray as much as the next guy... but he's definitely not the backbone of the team.

Ray has done most of the heavy lifting this year and last....when the other big two have had injuries...and he is the one who will have to absorb the hit if one of the big three gets traded.  That is what I meant by backbone.  Ray is the healthiest of the big three, and is being played the most minutes at the expense of his own game.  I think with fewer minutes, Ray's shot will come back, along with a better defensive ability.

ray would be the perfect 6th man for boston. i wpuld hate to give him away for junk. i am hopeful his minutes can be reduced and he can not have to play the big minutes with daniels back,

Maybe have Daniels for the sixth man this year, Ray next (switch positions). Daniels has only a one year deal, I believe, and would have to be signed at a vastly higher price, while Ray could, maybe, sacrifice wages to stay in Boston.  And in the end, it all depends on the owners/players negotiations results...as far as next season's offers, anyway.

i have a serious question. if both atlanta and orlando finish with a better record than boston, does boston still get the 3 seed because they win the atlantic? if so, the real concern should be just holding off the raptors, securing the 3rd seed and getting full amount of rest

Yes, if the C's win the Atlantic division, they can finish no lower than the #3 seed.

They are only 4 games ahead of toronto though and Toronto is 18-6 over the past 24 games so I don't think it going to be easy.

i do think this upcoming roadie will be huge with the raptors only 4.5 out. thy must hold them off. they will not catch cleveland. i hope atlanta can over take orlando and the magic become the 4 seed. cavs vs magic a lot better than hawks vs cavs. boston has to start winning games. no more of this. with ray...without ray
