Terrible, awful, they are going to lose because of that quarter. God I hate this team, they are so STUPID. I don't know whats wrong with them, but they are NOT contenders at all. They are just a bunch of old jokes.

  • You know my methods, Watson.
this team is playing so dumb that a work stoppage would be a blessing...

It would be nice if they just stopped the game now, and gave the Magic the win so I wouldn't have to watch anymore.

It's hard to blame a quarter like that on starters, but it's blantant that was the case today.

The bench did farely well.  It was the starters that came out with no energy, completely flat, terrible body language...I was kinda hopin that Doc would sit all of them for the entire 4th.

We just don't want to win anymore. I hope this changes in the playoffs.

Horrific quarter.  We played well for 75% of the game (winning the other three quarters), but it was all for naught.  Just ugly.

We need to give a bit more in the way of analysis, fellas.

Why was it so horrible?

I'd say it started from slow rotations on D, especially from the Big 3, which coincided with a Magic hot streak, which completely robbed of us our transition attack and opened the door for our turnover prone offense to kick out of gear.

2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

I don't blame the D nearly as much as the offense.  They were lazy at cutting off penetration a couple of times, but their defense on jumpshots wasn't bad; the Magic were simply hitting everything.

On offense, the team continually settled for jump shots, and even Rondo looked tentative after his first step.  There was little or no ball movement, and to top it off, they couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

Poor talent and poor energy has caught up to this team. The rest of the season will simply be miserable struggle.

Agree with Hobbs here. Basketball 101 > if you're not hitting you're shots, take the ball to the rim.

We get phenomenally lazy on offense every time we stink it up. It also happened against the Lakers. One guy would have the ball and everyone else would be just standing around, doing nothing.

As someone else also said, they seem to be phenomenally stupid basketball players as well. You combine epic stupidty with epic laziness or lethargy, you get the 3rd wuarter we saw today.

Most frustrating part of course, is that to a man, you know they are actually phenomenally smart basketball players, everyone of them in the starting unit.

I'm kinda glad I sold my tickets for this one so I didn't have to be a witness to that murder in the third quarter.
