The Nets are 4-41, but they have big athtletic bodied in there and a some pretty good scorers. Why they have such a bad record, I dont know. Maybe Doc is coaching them on the side; that would is certainly a possibility. So you get a team that can score aganst a team that is "pacing" themselves; I rather use that word than say a "team with no legs" and of course its going to be a close game. Any team in the NBA can push you to the limit in aone game. If it hadnt been for Eddie's streak, we would have lost that game. The Big Picture is: Where has our chemistry gone? Where has our desire gone? Was Pennant 17 the ultimate goal for the Big Three? Wouldnt be the first time that a group of players lose their desire when they achieve a lifetime goal....They got their ring. Kobe has 4 and wants more and he shows it. Im not sure our stars want to go the extra mile to get another ring.. Im just not sure and I wont be until and unless they show it. The proof is in the pudding. Last; Rashhed; I have my doubts about his desire and he is supossed to be one of our key ingredients; even PJ showed more desire than Sheed. Lastley(sic) in 2008 we had such an oiled machine we won without Doc having to coach intelligently. This year, by his own demeanor, like it shows he has no solid grip on the team; "laisez faire(sic) seems to be the way to coach this team. We need a strong coach to keep these guys in check. Red had it, Bill Fitch had it. Doc won 1 in spite of himself. Well those are my two cents however devaluated in todays economy they may be worth. lol   ::)
And someday in the midst of time,
When they ask you if you knew me
Remember that you were a friend of mine

I have to admit that I have a really hard time watching this team this year.  In prove it to me big games they keep losing.  And in most games they play lousy.  Very few times do I see them run and move the ball and pass it around a lot. I don't think its because of the "wait until the playoffs" for us to turn it on.  I think they have definitely got problems with #1 being that KG is a shadow of what he was before surgery and I think its over for him being that dominant player.
