Since silly season is here, and every trade idea is basically speculation until the dotted line is signed, I was wodering who would be the odd man out if such a trade were to occur.  I keep thinking there is another shoe to fall - probably including Sheed and hoping is not KP - but unlikely to happen until summer.  So if RAllen goes, meaning you'd get a 3(Miller) and 4(Jamison) in return, who would be the odd man out?

I hope is Sheed, but knowing Doc, it would probably be Perk...

Can PP play the 2  and AJamison the 3 for long streches?

What's your pick?  ::)

TA without question...Just because Sheed hasnt played up to some peoples expectations doesnt mean Doc is going to take his veteran presence out of the lineup...Thats crazy.

Rondo/Danies
Pierce/House
Jamison/Miller
KG/baby
Perk/Sheed

I think if Jamison is on his way in Sheed is on his way out. You simply can't make Pierce your starting 2. How's he gonna guard anyone?

Eddie House - for THREEEEEEE!

I'd worry about Jamison at the 3 way more than Pierce at the 2.

Look at our competition in the East and what they have at SG: Joe Johnson, Vince, and Anthony Parker. Pierce can guard all of those guys.

And why isn't big baby in this poll? And why would two new players only push out one player? In my view, those two guys would push out baby and house. And please don't even try tonsay sheed. He still gives us something very important and that is size.

If we were able to resign Ray after a buyout, I'd think Eddie, TA and Baby would take their places behind the break in case of foul trouble, injury or other emergencies glass, while Perk would return to the 24 mpg he averaged during the championship season.

Rondo 36/Daniels 12
Miller 18/Ray 30
Pierce 36/Miller 12
KG 24/Jamison 24
Perk 24/Sheed 18/KG 6

Ray, Jamison and Sheed would sub in 1st for Miller, KG and Perk, then Miller and Daniels would swap for Rondo and Pierce.  KG could sub in for Sheed when we want to go small and quick, before Perk returns for Jamison to re-establish a traditional line-up.

Using the championship line-up as reference, Daniels would be taking the Cassell role, Miller would be absorbing some of Ray's reduced role and taking Posey's back-up swing role, Jamison would be taking Posey's role as the small ball stretch 4 and the Powe role as the rebounding 4, and Sheed would settle into the PJ Brown long 5 role.  Eddie, Baby and TA would reprise their bit roles.
