I just saw it on realgm that the Grizzlies aren't gonna sign him. I think he would be a great fit for the C's as a scorer off the bench. Plus if Ray or Ta get traded he would be the best wing we could get without giving up anything.

Who else wants to see the C's sign Wafer?

not a bad option depending on what else Danny can accomplish through moving some expiring deals.

He would be a good pickup if we can't get a better played by a trade or after a buyout.

He can shoot, drive, and his defense seems OK. He plays with a lot of energy and can score, two things that our 2nd unit is lacking.

However, you have to wonder why the Grizzlies hesitated to sign him twice to finally say no a second time. Another team was interested in him and ultimately didn't sign him but I don't remember which team.

Is it too much to say that if the Grizzlies didn't want him we probably don't, either? And if what Drucci said is true, it's two teams that don't want Wafer. Why would we?

I'd rather trade for Nocioni.
