First with TMac.   His name was floated around in some trade rumors but now it appears he might actually be bought out (NY latest rumor if he is bought out).   He might be harder than you think for Houston to trade him because they might not want to take much salary back as they would have to match his substantial salary in incoming money.   If and it's a big if he is back in shape I would love him as a 6th or 7th man.   You could have a 3 man rotation with TMac, Ray, and Pierce to keep them all fresh.    If you sell him on 25 to 30 minutes a game with a chance of a ring he might buy in and would be the instant go to guy off the bench.

Our rebounding and interior defense is suffering and KG improving is a big question mark in most of our eyes.   What we need from our big guys off the bench is not so much scoring but rebounding and defense.   Camby is not far removed from defensive player of the year and is averaging 12 boards a game.   The Clippers seem to be out of the playoff hunt so they might be looking to trade him.   I would consider offering them Davis, Scal, and either TA or House, maybe a draft pick, and see if they bite.

Our team would then look like.
Perk Wallace
KG Camby
Pierce TMac
R Allen Daniels
Rondo House or TA

Camby's defense and rebounding and TMac's scoring prowess would help our bench a ton.

This would also open 2 additional spots for more possible buyouts to add to the team.

Picking up T-Mac for nothing would be sweet. I don't think we need Camby.

Camby...I'd have to say yes.

T-Mac is a huge unknown right now, a total wild card.  Did I read somewhere that the Rockets aren't even letting potential trade partners look at him working out?

Yes I read that too about T-Mac but possibly T-Mac's guys are leaking out to GMs how he is looking.

Based on his play this season, I don't think T-Mac could crack the Celtics rotation.

He would have a difficult time beating out Marquis Daniels and/or Tony Allen for minutes on the wing.

True however his sample size this season is so small and was not really healthy yet.  He may be now.  Who knows.  It is an intriguing thought though.

So just for clarification why do you think Houston isn't playing him? I mean I have no problem if you could get him for vet min and at worst he sits at the end of the bench ( of course he'll be upset ) but, age and injuries are the major issues on this team and TMAC adds what to that?

Agreed -- my fear is that he was showing similar flaws as the previous season. Rather than just for the few games he played this season. It was a repeat performance of previous problems -- An inability to move defensively (abysmal defender) + an inability to create separation defensively (lot of contested shots).

It's a pity McGrady didn't go along with Rick Adelman's process. Allow himself to be slowly re-integrated into the team. To slowly get back to whatever his true peak physical condition is. Then he could have shown a more accurate image of himself.
