If you watched the game, you know what I'm talking about.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Yeah, why did he have to take out his frustration on poor Rondo, who's approximately 11 inches shorter and about 100 pounds lighter, even after his humongous weight loss.

I'm surprised, quite frankly, that he only got away with a flagrant foul. I thought that punch (it was a punch) merited an ejection. Either way, I'm glad we won. Furthermore, I bet Knicks fans are really upset that Curry lost his composure on that play because it did make somewhat of a difference in sending the game to OT.

Personally, I thought Perk was doing an amazing job on him.

Curry was very effective for the Knicks.  He was terrible defensively, but Sheed couldn't hit the wide-open looks he was given and Curry is still a very nice post scorer.

But that hit on Rondo was brutal.  I was shocked on the replay and I think the refs were too: it just made no sense for him to do that to Rondo so it was easy to mistake as semi-inadvertent.  I wouldn't be surprised if Curry was suspended a few games.

It worried me that Rondo had his hands on his neck while still on the ground. I hope he didn't sustain any kind of head/neck injury.

Curry should have been suspended for that play and the Celtics should have got 4 free throws + the ball instead of 2 + the ball. Plus, it would have nailed the game since Ray would have taken 2 free throws.

If Eddy Curry is a punk, then Kevin Garnett is something much worse.

I concur. And a cowardly bully. Why didn't he use that frustration on Perk and take the beatdown I'm sure would have followed like a man?
I hope Rondo didn't tweak anything. He looks so small and adorable out there I always want to give him a hug after these cheap shot flagrant fouls.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

I missed the game but heard about the incident and was told that no teammate rushed to defend him or really help him out.  If this is true that is a bad sign.  I remember in '08 when one player hit the ground he had all 4 guys rush to his aid not to mention if he was knocked down.  I think chemistry might be lacking for these guys.

What do you guys who watched the game think?

Who told you that? I'm not being facetious but was it someone trustworthy?
Ray went over and tapped him on the back to ask him if he was alright and Perk helped him up. Pierce had his back turned when it happened. I'm assuming KG was too he wasn't in the frame.
I honestly don't think it's necessary to worry about ominous signs in every little thing.

I mean I don't really see what someone would get out of lying about that, but yeah he's very trustworthy.  My best friend, in fact.  If it did go down as you said I'm happy. I guess that was just his perspective on what happened.  Normally I wouldn't think much of it but considering the lackluster play recently I don't think it's out of the question that chemistry might be a problem.  Just a thought.

I think they were just being smart.  If there was tension throughout the game, I'm sure someone would've done something.
