  • So what if we don't win 73 - the ring's the thing
Rondo - 3. Near perfect performance
Truth - 2. Unstoppable and devastating from the perimeter
House - 1. When Eddie Mansion gets going like that, say goodnight

Ray Ray - 3. Great to see him break loose
Paul Pierce - 2. Solid game with pts, rbs and assists. Plus whatever he did to Luol kept him unbalanced.
Rondo - 1. Lead the team with assists and set the tempo.

Most important - Overall Team Defense. No sights of Rose just dancing into the paint. Perk and KG (And SHELDEN) on Patrol.

And GREAT JOB from Bench. Eddie Mansion!!!

Rondo for 1 - 16 assists, passing it around like a hot potato. : )

Pierce for 2, Ray for 2 - Deadly shooting from the 3. Bulls could not handle it.

House for 1 - He got hot, and he helped the Celtics take it to the church in the process.

Overall, love this game. And of course, our defense was overwhelming. Crazy.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Pierce- 3
Allen- 2
Rondo- 1

Rondo was awesome tonight, but the outside shooting for the Celtics tonight was unstoppable. Rondo will have a number of 'mvps' this year, but this game really does belong to the shooters and Pierce did better than Allen in other categories, so he takes it for me.

I feel like I am the only person this year that doesn't think Rondo is amazing. While I think he is exceptional with his passing and defense, I really do think he needs to score- even just a tiny bit more- to be considered 'elite'. I should also say that I think that will come and his 'amazing' performances will be even more amazing. Maybe I just think this guy has even more potential.

3 for Rondo becuase of the way he played QB for the offense
2 for Pierce becuase of the way he hung in the game and contributed despite not really scoring till the 3rd quarter
1 for Marquis for the job he did with the starting unit becuase of Ray's early foul trouble

hell, everybody could get one...

3 Rondo
1 Pierce
1 Ray Allen
1 Eddie House

Rondo set the table and the other three knocked down shot after shot.
