I really like him. You can tell there is something different about him compared to the other rookies from the past couple of years. I don't know if it's confidence or him being fearless because he was raised in one of the worst parts in the country. I'm not saying all-star or anything like that but he will turn out to be a pretty good role player imo.

If this kid stays healthy, he could end up being another one of Danny's "works of genius" ... I'm really excited to see what the season brings for Lester ... it's gonna be fun to watch! So far, I'm mildly impressed, and his athleticism is amazing.

Thanks for sharing this.  TP.  I really enjoyed watching the enthusiasm that Hudson played with.  He could have a bright future.

Anyone know what he averaged for FG%, 3P%, and FT% this preseason?

The only thing that bothers me is that a lot of his shots have been poorly defended. I mean if you just watch the video even when LeBron is defending him towards the end Lester faces no challenge whatsoever. I'm just not sure if he will still be as effective when the regular season starts up and people start playing top level defense. With that being said what he has done this preseason has been extremely impressive. I want him to do good and I really think he is going to be good. I'm just going to remain a little skeptical for now, just in case.

I like him too. He is however 24 remember, so we don't know if he's one of the "this is what you get" products that you usually do with older players with no previous outside college basketball experience

Lester has the potential to be Danny's best steal yet, if he waits for his time and continues to do the right things he'll be a better player than Powe, Davis, and Walker combined.

Overstatement much?  Powe was a very good backup PF for us until he got hurt, and Glen Davis could be a starter on several teams in the league.  We have no idea what Walker will be - he could be a starter down the line, or he could be out of the league because of his knees.  Either way, I like Lester, I've been very impressed with him thus far, but projecting him as anything more than a bench piece is very unrealistic at this point.
