The former President of the Philippines, Corazon Aquino,  passed away at the age of 76 after a year long battle w/ colon cancer. Here's a write up from Time Magazine on Cory Aquino:  http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,1914125,00.html

She was the widow of the assasinated Senator, Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino, Jr, who spent three years in self-exile in the U.S. right within your midsts in Newton, Massachusetts.  While living in Newton, MA, he was on fellowship grants from Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, giving a series of lectures in school halls, classrooms and auditoriums.

I was wondering if any of you who went to school at these universities ever had a chance to get to know him or meet him & his family?

Rest in Peace, Tita Cory!
