Is it our intention to have him play Point on offense when Eddie is in the game, and then have them switch on D?
Also, i haven't seen him play a lot, but will he be able to guard SFs if we need him to?  I know he can PLAY the 3, but i don't see him guarding guys like Lebron.
For some reason i have a really good feeling about him, Rasheed, and House off the bench.  If he can do what i asked above, and he can do it good on this team, then excellent job Danny.  Now all we need is Big Baby back.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

The thing that is great about this Celtic team and the most overlooked part is TEAM Defense.  No one guy is going to stop Lebron, but the Celtic TEAM is going to stop Lebron.

Daniels will be playing backup SF and SG. House backup SG and PG. Another min player like Diener or Lue some spot minutes at PG. That's it.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I wouldn't be against Diener at all.

So we are still gonna get a PG?
Thank God.

Certainly, especially if Pruitt is gone. I'm not sure if the backup PG will play ahead of Giddens though, using House-Daniels as your ball handlers.

Well firstoff he is going to be coming off the bench, so he rarely has to defend 'Bron and Kobe. But I do wonder too, how good a defender is he? There seems to be mixed opinions about that.
Anything is possible!!!

No one should ever evaluate a bench player by asking "can he guard Lebron".

Haha, my bad.  I didn't mean Lebron exactly.  But asking 1 guy to cover 3 positions off the bench seems a little excess.
