Ainge with a lack of interesting free agents crop now i'm sure has his eyed glued to the what happened this past summer league involving the celtics and the las vegas summer league involving other teams. There are a handful of players that won't be signed once everything is set and done. I think he might just be able to find a gem that will do well but won't be kept nor signed (due to for example certain team having overloads of talent in a position)
I don't think he was impressed by walker, giddens and pruitt. Especially from pruitt i'm sure he expected more. Unless walker and giddens also can show a tighter game you can expect both trying again in the d league. Ggiddens might be one of dannys worst pick . (can't really fault him on drafting pruitt nor walker as they are 2nd round picks)
I think he keeps hudson though at least until trainning camp (just like he did with wallace, jones, batista). Hudson will get over his injury pretty quick in theory and danny can't really give up on him because he was showing alot of promise during a couple of those summer games.
Anybody know of any decent players from either summer leagues that probably won't be signed by the teams they are vying to get a spot in?
