Wouldn't it be fun to see Rasheed Wallace and Ben Wallace play together again?!  But this time in Green uniforms:)

Any chance he would sign with us cheap since he'll get 14 million this season already?

One word... NO

Why? he's a great defender and would solidify are front court rotation. He would definitely not demand much money.

If this is the 04' version of Big Ben then I would be smiling ear to ear, but he's diminished ALOT over the past 5 years.

I think you meant to say he used to be a great defender
But ragardless of his abilities backup SF and PG are the priorities here. And hith the lack of cap flexibility i can`t see Wallace as a good option unless he signs for the minimum which i can`t see happening

The question is why did Ben regress so much.

Did he get lazy?  Never seemed like the type to be lazy.

Injury?  I don't remember any.

Steroids?  Maybe he's the Ken Caminiti of B-Ball.

Maybe the answer is that he was a product of a system that included great defenders such as Rasheed.

If he's willing to play for the minimum then I'd think about it.

Ben Wallace won multiple defensive player of the year awards before Rasheed.

I think Ben's Wallace's main problem was his brand of defense required on good athleticism and strength, which he has lost over the years. I think this is something Detroit saw coming, which is why they let him leave to Chicago.
