Chucky Atkins and Damien Wilkins head north, while Thomas goes to OKC, along with some 2nd round picks.

Chucky's deal is non-guaranteed. I'm thinking he gets cut very soon.

I wonder what Etan Thomas's health level is.

Same, he can be a serviceable player when healthy.  I think OKC may surprise quite a few people next year.  The core is solid, and the bench is improving.  DJ White showed some promise in the few games he got to play and could be a very good big off the bench.  Also, James Harden has the chance to be a very good player and is in a good situation where he gets to play a lot, but not have to carry the load as he'll probably be the #4 option on offense.

yeah. i'm thinking durant is really gonna blow up this year, too. i could see him leading the league in scoring next year and will start to get mentioned with the best skilled player in the league conversation in a couple of years.

How many pgs does Minnesota have? Bassy, Atkins, Flynn, Rubio and Brown. Its not the WBL.

Basically, Minnesota sold their second round draft pick for $3.4 million ... and swapped a non-rotation big for a non-rotation wing.

I'm surprised Oklahoma did this trade. I thought they would have gotten more for Chucky Atkins' partially guaranteed contract. They must value that second round pick highly.

I think OKC values Etan Thomas more than the 2nd rounder.

OKC needs Centers that's why they did this.

Telfair got traded to LAC, Rubio isn't coming over, don't know who Brown is, and Atkins will probably be waived.

Yes, the move potentially allows Nick Collison to play more minutes at his natural position.

Also worth noting that Thomas, who's given name is Dedreck, is a Tulsa native.

To answer your question,

Brown is:

And more on topic....

I think Presti pulled out another nice trade here. Not the best but really could work to their advantage.

Could they have gotten more for Atkins? Possibly. But I think picking up 2 picks and a C who could potentially start for them if he gets healthy is plenty if you ask me.

There rotation looks very very solid right now, but they probably could use another PG.

PG- Westbrook/Livingston
SG- Harden/Sefolosha/Weaver
SF-Durant/White/Ibaka
PF-Green/Collison/Kristic
C-Kristic/Thomas/Mullens

Pretty promising considering how White and Ibaka have come on strong lately showing some definite NBA talent.

I really do like this team for the 8th seed in the west unless a team like the rockets make a big trade during the season or at the deadline.
