I love Eddie House, but he's one of those undersized combo guards. But with Eddie being here and being great these past 2 years, I wouldn't mind letting him be our Backup PG. BUT, We need a bigger SG. And looking at the list of free agents, are options are narrowing down. From the Shaq trade, Phoenix picked up Pavolic but are looking at waiving him b/c most of his contract is not guaranteed...

He's a 6'8 SG. Big enough to play SF if Daniels was at SG. He can shoot, defend and attack the basket. He'd be a great pickup for us. So..I would suggest we trade Allen and Pruitt and/or Giddens for Daniels so we could use the 1.9 Biannual for Pavlovic. Keep House to backup Rondo and we'd have a larger SG and SF combo then BBD and Sheed upfront!!!
Can't stop, Rondo!

That's one of the reasons I believe we are pursuing Daniels.   He has a good enough handle to be a PG on offense, but is too big to stay with PG's on defense.   It allows us to use House as a spot up shooter without worrying about running the offense through him.  He is generally on the floor when Pierce is in, so it provides some more flexibility.

So then we still need to get a backup SF, and sign BBD.

Daniels is 6ft6 and will play the 2 and 3.

technically when Eddie goes in he's the PG becuase thats who he's guarding, so i'd say that we need a big backup PG or another wing that can handle the ball.

Yes. If you watched last years playoffs, Eddie played SG, on offense but guarded the PG on defense (with marbury guarding SG).

Hence we don't need a bigger SG, but just simply a larger PG who can defend SG's.

Also, Pavlovic usually played (6'7) usually plays SF, not SG (Wally's the backup SG in their offense).
