i just don't get how many think walker is going to improve so much to be a key reserve for the celtics. will he improve? a little i guess but not enough to be the main wing back up. i just don't see it with him and giddens

I really don't see why the Celtics would want Livingston though.

Honestly based on the trade offer Danny made the Grizzlies on draft day basically to just get rid of a bunch of our excess players I think Danny would give Tony and Walker away just to get rid of the salries, luxury tax and roster spots. Livingston has NBA experience and would pair well in the backcourt with Eddie. A trade exception would be valuable come Feb.

Maybe you're right, but he's got a better chance than livingston.

Sometimes it amazes me how much people overvalue their's.  We trade a contributor and a developing talent for somebody who is amazing....that is if he can ever make it on a basketball court.

Yeah I'm an undercover Thunder fan  ::)

Tony Allen is a contributor, but its a negative contribution. I'd rather have the FA we could sign with the freed up money and roster spot and the player we could later get with the trade exception. I also think Livingston has as much potential, if not more than Walker.

What exactly is his potential to actually see a basketball court?

I saw him yesterday on the basketball court and he looked better than our current backup pg.

so then we have NO backup wings and like 5 point guards... and no money to spend. And Grant Hill is NOT walking through that door.

If we're going for big back-up guards I'd rather have Mardy Collins.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

thats a foolish trade.. 1 or 1 is good enough not 2 for 1. OKC doesn't have any use for Livingston, so they'll trade him quick, but I wouldn't trade 2 people for him especially after a major injury... ???
