How much money is he looking at this year? Becuase if we could land him for our second unit i'd be able to live with a 2nd year player and Scal to backup P2.

Plus if we can sign Baby our bench would be FILLED with veteran talent to make up for youth.

Potential Bench:

A. Miller, Pruitt, Hudson
E. House, TA, Giddens
Walker, Scalabrine
Wallace
Davis

thats a pretty good bench IMO.

We don't have a chance to sign him. Last I heard, he was looking for 3 year 30 mil contract. Since we only have the LLE left, I don't think 1.8 mil is going to do it. Even if he was willing to sign a 1 year LLE, it would be at a place where he could start and increase his value. Thats not happening here.

It looks like Miller may be forced to sign an MLE contract ... so he's out of the Celtics price range, but somebody could get a steal.

Sadly, this is true.

Especially with the rumoured Nash Extension, D'Antoni loses his possible future PG.

What's weird to me though is that they might let Lee and Nate walk but give Andre Miller a large contract...

3 year 30 million? i thought he'd be getting close to the end. I guess he has one more good contract in him before he gets to being an LLE player. too bad.

Well, he did have his 2 best seasons at 31 and 32

I don't expect it'd be a large contract. If Miller's stuck with the MLE, which he probably will be since nobody has other cap room, he may want to just sign a one year deal to try again next season.
Go Celtics.
