That's really the first they have shown of his kids... and when his daughter went up there and spoke it kinda made the whole thing rather real.  I mean, I've been up here defending the crap out of Michael Jackson and I watched that entire funeral listening to the words they all had to say.  Even as a Jackson apologist who understands how much of his life is based on rumor, seeing his daughter really made the man a lot more human for me.  I knew the kids must have been in pain, but that was the first that we actually got to see it.

Very sad.  Doubt it will stop people spreading lies and making jokes at his expense, but... sad to think that these kids just lost their father and now get to see all of this crap.

Pretty sad when the only genuine tears shed were from his daughter - AND SHE'S NOT EVEN HIS DAUGHTER.

kinda random, but... I had seen pics of his "kids" before and there were a couple blonde blue eyed white children (apparently just some stock photo of Jackson with random kids?)  After seeing his daughter was anyone else surprised to see what she looked like?  She appeared pretty mixed race to me.  Not sure if that will put an end to the rumors (see above), but... interesting.

Poor kids.  Very sad.

Danger zone -- there are millions of folks with adopted children, and adopted children themselves, who could be offended by that.  I think she would seem herself -- at least from the emotional standpoint that you reference -- as his daughter.

For anyone who also wants to fight back tears:

You can also see his youngest son "Blanket" towards the right crying.

Not to mention that this is a tabloid rumor that is probably rather hurtful to his family and the children themselves.  Jackson made comments about it in the past.  They were all his biological children.  The oldest two were between him and his wife at the time.  The last he admitted was the result of artificial insemination from a surrogate mother and his own sperm cells.

Even if you want to believe the crap printed I think it's best to be respectful of the fact that all 3 were being raised by him, loved him dearly and anyone who was ever asked about it had the same thing to say, "He's a wonderful father"...

which is completely fine. All I'm saying is that this entertainment community he was raised in that after all was said and done completely exploited him stood there rather emotionless and fraudulent, not to mention stood to make a dime by charging tickets to the staples center and then decided it would be a good idea to parade his dead body across the country like a red sox trophy. I just am not a big fan of that.

Hadn't heard that.  But I did just read,

"More than 1.6 million people registered for the lottery for free tickets to Jackson's memorial. A total of 8,750 were chosen to receive two tickets each. "

Again... take what you read regarding Michael Jackson with a grain of salt.  People just make stuff up.  It's unbelievable.

Thank You. As the adopted father of 4 as well as having 2 biological children I would like to believe that my death would be equally upsetting to all of them. I have rasied them all the same and love them equally. I must admit that I do find your "She not even his daughter" comment to be somewhat offensive to not only me but I'm sure most adoptive parents as well as adopted children.
