Bellineli is a pretty good player who can run the point if needed and can also shoot the 3 pretty well. Maggette could also backup Pierce, and wouldn't mind coming off the bench... he did it with the Warriors. Yeah his contract is pretty rough but he's an upgrade over what we have. We also open up 3 roster spots to sign some guys who would be upgrades over Walker and Giddens. Use the other spot on getting Powe back.

That isn't a bad lineup coming off the bench IMO. That's if we match Baby's contract though.

Explain to me why Golden State does this deal.

Warriors has a playoff worthy roster. So I doubt they'll make any moves that lessens their chance. However, I do believe they regret signing Corey especially with that ridiculous contract.

Unlikely trade, but anything is possible!!!!!

We're required to have 13 on the team at once. Where will we get the money for the other 2 players? (assuming Lester Hudson at the third string PG.)

i do think they regret the maggette deal, so possibly it could get done with just Eddie, TA, Scal for maggette; straight salary dump.

No need to throw in a first round pick.  That contract to Maggette is pretty bad and them getting salary flexibility is a big time plus for them.   

I'm sure they'd rather do the deal without Pruitt and Belinelli.

We'll see, but that is an interesting contract for a backup on a non contending team.
