After he stole all that money from Orlando and practically ruined the franchise, this guy has the nerve to say he wants to get paid fairly? Wow, the Knicks or the Suns can keep him, whichever team lands him. Hill is talking as if winning basketball games means nothing to him, which isn't surprising given his resume.

You may be right.  But maybe he's trying to get the Celtics to offer more?

I know it doesn't happen as much in the NBA as it does in MLB, but is there any chance the Knicks are just trying to stick it to the Celts (their Division rival)?

Yeah, I see it as the only explanation for offering such deals to Hill... because sports wise it doesn't make sense. Maybe they want Hill to sell more tickets but I'm not sure he is the type of player who has this kind of impact on the tickets sales.

Anyway, all the contrary reports on this matter make me think that we should wait to see what Hill or his agent have to say, because so far we don't know if all these news are reliable. The only thing that seems true is that the Knicks really want to sign Hill.

another thing to remember abouth NYK next season is that they don't have their first round pick. I believe it belongs to UTH.

So, they absolutely want to be as good as they can be next season without hurting their chances of signing two max players in the next FA.

nobody wants to get a top 5 draft pick and have to hand it to someone else.

How could we possibly offer more than the LLE?

I know they can't, but maybe Grant doesn't?

LLE deals are capped at two years.

The guy was injured.  By all accounts he always busted his rear end to rehab.  He didn't steal any money.
