According to Rick Bucher on Sports Center. Wow the Blazers are one Vet PG away from being legit title contenders

I thought we busted that myth. You don't need a star point guard to win. Blake is adequate enough. Roy/Rudy/Hedo can also play the point. Portland is backup PF away from a possible title.

I think they will be 3rd in the west this year and be a scary opponent in a playoff series. Bayless might pull it together this year. He is very talented.

If I were the Blazers I'd make a play for Rondo with some combo of these players: Bayless, Batum, Rudy, Outlaw, Oden.  I still think Danny wants to move Rondo. I'm not saying the C's should do it (check out my sig), but that the Blazers should try if they were smart.

If you do that, then Sheed really won't come here.

Hey I never said the CELTICS should do it. I said the Blazers should try. Also, supposedly Sheed was concerned about playing with Rondo. Lastly i think Sheed will end up with the Cavs or Spurs.

great, maybe someone out west can give the lakers some competition next season. With the Spurs and the Blazers, the lakers should no longer have their annual cakewalk to the finals while we battle with cleveland and orlando

No, he was concerned that the Celtics were uncertain about their point guard situation.  Not that he was concerned about playing with Rondo.

  • Rondo = Good
If Sheed signs with SA the best 3 teams could be in the West.

LA, Portland, SA.
