Minny's GM was on Mike and Mike, apparently Rubio is likely not even coming over for at least a year and possibly two.  They also did not expect him to be there at all, as a trusted source told him that OKC was going to take Rubio earlier in the day.  They figured picking at 5 and 6 you had to take the best value especially for a team not ready to compete right away, and they had Rubio and Flynn as the two best players available.  Made a lot of sense.  If Flynn works out the next year or so then you can move Rubio to one of the other 8 teams that took a first round PG who busts out.  If Flynn doesn't work out then you just move Rubio in and relegate Flynn to the bench.
