Ok 2 more topics that don't deserve their own threads:

@@@ Blocked Shots after a foul

Ok, so if a player gets fouled and hits the shot (an And 1) they are credited with one field goal attempt and 1 FG made. If they miss the shot, no field goal attempt. If the shot is goal tended, then again 1 FG attempt and 1 make. But if the shot is blocked on a continuation foul(like last night in the 1st quarter by Howard), the shot blocker does not receive a blocked shot. That seems unfair as the shot block has had an effect on the score. Thoughts?

Should it count as 1/2 a block? The guy's still going to the line for two. If you foul someone yourself and block the shot in the process it's the same situation. Your block still has an effect on the score.

@@@ Bring Back Toine Lifespan

Seeing as we've had a suggestion that the Celts look into Latrell Sprewell, what do you think is the legitimate lifespan of the Bring Back Toine fascination?

I think it's usually approximately 32.5 hrs. Hypothetically if the C's brought back Tione and Gerald would celticsblog be able to handle that much traffic or would the site blow up?  :-\

@@@ Why is Jordan an NBA GM?

I know, because of his name and money, but read this:

http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/60042/20090624/appearance_by_mj_impressed_williams/

Quote
"A lot of organizations impressed me, but I would say the Bobcats more so because Michael Jordan came in," Williams told RealGM on Wednesday. "It was the first one that he attended, so I felt honored to be working out in front of The Greatest."

Shouldn't MJ be watching all the workouts? I have a feeling he works the least amount of hours on his GM job in the league.
