Rondo for Monta?  Salaries don't match, but it would be a swap of two disgruntled PGs....
(I think this matches: Rondo+TA+Scal+Giddens for Monta+GSW#7pick).

If Ainge is set on moving Rondo, that's a pretty intriguing trade proposal.

Agreed. If folks are okay with Rondo for Conley+#2, then Rondo for Ellis+#7 can't be much further behind.  The downside is the Cs lose a lot of financial flexibility b/c of Monta's hefty contract.  But if that is what they were expecting to pay Rondo anyway, then it is not such a big deal, especially if DA is pretty sure he can get who he wants at #7 (T. Evans?)
Celtics fan for life.

Yeah both would be looked at pretty hard, but no way Nellie wants Rondo. He'd never play a PG who couldn't shoot, and Nellie calls all the shots in GS.

Chad Ford: What's the upshot of the Hawks' rumored deal for Jamal Crawford?

If it goes through, I think you can kiss Mike Bibby goodbye, Hawks fans. A source close to Bibby told ESPN.com that Hawks management has sent the signal to Bibby that they might not re-sign him this summer.

Hmmm, so would be picking up Bibby a good choice or should we work on our bench in other areas with the MLE.  Aren't Bibby and House brother-in-laws too?
