At this point in time Big Baby and Toine are the same player except that Baby doesn't shoot threes and can defend the Center position.

Toine would have certainly been an upgrade over Mikki Moore though.

But seriously though...does Walker even WANT to come back to the NBA?   I don't know...I just think once Toine got his ring, he got "satisfied" with his situation.

I think he really believes that he has nothing more to strive for(therefore...no motivation) so I wouldn't be surprised if he just retires.   Because if he still wants to play, he's going to have to be a role player the rest of his playing days(whatever is left of them).

well...obviously this thread is a bit of a joke, but toine is not that old and could have helped a bit if he was in shape.

if, when garnett originally got hurt, we signed toine and he was in shape by the playoffs, he probably could have defended Lewis better than Baby and given us some intensity to boot.
