I think its ridiculous that they put Dwyane Wade and Kobe as the backcourt. They both are 2 guards, granted they avg about 5 and 7 assists respectively, but they are PG. It is the ALL NBA First Team, therefore it should be a team, which consists of the PG SG SF PF and C. The PG should have been CP3.
exactly
and thats a reason why tis is as usual over manipulated.
u consider the players u want for the position u want.

These rosters are some kind of a joke, right? How does the most consistent player on the third-best regular season team get 6 votes total?

I love Pierce as much as the next guy, but I don't even think he was the best player on our team this season.

The first team was announced today, check out the roster

Dwight Howard.............. ::)

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

So who do you think should be the first team center? I mean, like him or not, he was voted defensive player of the year and lead the league in rebounding.

Yao Ming should be the All-NBA 1st team.

Nowitzki is the one who really has no business being on any of the All NBA Teams, let alone the First Team.  He doesn't play a lick of defense and his teams constantly choke.

Whoever voted Tony Parker that first team vote should be slapped! No excuse for that. Did he have a better year than Kobe or Dwayne??? Heck no!!

Billups should have been on the second team, ahead of Roy.

Pierce or Duncan should have finished ahead of Dirk.

Everything else makes sense.

I was kind of a math geek in school but I seem to be missing something here. Each person on the 122 person panel gets to vote for 2 1st team guard positions right? That would be a total of 244 votes for the 1st team guard position. The votes for first team guards seem to be as follows (according to nba.com):

Bryant: 119
Wade:   103
Paul:    32
Parker:   1

That's 255 first team votes for the guard position??? Can someone explain this to me? Is Wade sometimes a forward? I added them all up to try to make some sense of this and none of them seem to make sense:

Guard:   255
Forward: 227
Center:  124 (only one center position so it should be 122 right?)

Totaling 606 which is not 122*5 (=610 for those that are curious but too lazy to figure it out  ;))...

(Nice to see that PP got 2nd team honors though)
