Just read the Souza article: http://blogs.metrowestdailynews.com/celtics/2009/05/07/thursday-practice-update-check-the-temper-at-the-door/ and noticed the quote by Doc about fining guys and suspending them in the regular season.  What do you guys think of that type of rule change?

I would definitely support it especially if they increased the length of regular season suspensions.  No player cares when they're suspended for 1 or 2 games.  Its really not that big of a deal in the regular season.  Increase that to 3 or even 4 games per suspensions and you got some real deterrent power going.

There's a reason they went from that type of suspension to suspending players for taking one step onto the court during a fracas getting suspended. The league didn't like what all of the playoff brawls was doing for it's image.
