I'm going to assume that the only reason why he hasn't gotten his surgery yet is because he wants to be on the bench in support.  Thats the only thing I can think of.

I honestly don't see how his injury was THAT bad that he can't play at all this post season.  It still puzzles me.

Buddy of mine had a similar injury and was forced to wait a few weeks to let it settle down before they could perform surgery. It could be that, however it has been quite a while and should have been good by now to get it taken care of. I am convinced that KG thinks he has a chance to go in the ECF's or finals, and rather than miss out on a possibility of  playing he will wait until we are done.

Why does anyone still ask about this? I don't see what is confusing.

If he gets the surgery, that is definitely it for the season. If he wait, even if the chances are exceedingly small, there's always the possibility that he could eventually suit up.

According to past comments from Celtics people, the surgery will not involve fixing his main problem. It will just be cleaning, and it has been said multiple time that the surgery will not fix his problem. Rest is what will fix his problem. Hopefully one more week of rest will do the trick ;)

You don't see how his injury was that bad? Can you tell us what the injury was? I assume you know what it is if it doesn't seem that bad to you.
